The hotel and restaurant were 4-star worthy. We stayed 4 nights and and ate breakfast each morning and had dinner twice. I did not visit the spa, it didn’t look like my style really. Make sure to book any treatments in advance- I did plan to get a massage and they were booked over a few weeks out, so no luck. The breakfast was excellent, but the dinner was not worth the cost in my opinion (it was still good, but rather expensive). That said- it’s the best in the immediate area so it is what it is. Overall, a nice experience. The room was clean, fresh linens and tidy up daily- a good stay.

A14 is a bit noisy first thing on a Monday morning. All the staff are professionally and welcoming. It's hard to get a lounger in the spa.

Local hotel, been for meals and drinks often, used spa facilities, can't comment on the rooms as never stayed.
Had Sunday lunch recently and it was really lovely, get a glass of bubbly included in the Sunday lunch deal, staff always very professional and helpful, man behind the bar always extremely polite.
Bit more expensive than some places but worth it for a nice meal out.

Been going here a few months now and had a really good Sunday lunch there a couple of days ago. What makes this place a good pub to go to is the attitude of the staff. Clearly we'll trained, friendly smiling and polite.<br>The Sunday lunch was good. Nice Pork. Two issues, constructive comments, roast spuds and Yorkshire puddings I think had been perhaps sat around a bit too long. Also when going for a drink there is often a lack of seats given the amount of space given over to dining. Might be worth creating a bit of seating space near the bar for drinking and casual dining eg burgers, where you don't need a formal table.<br>Good pub though and will continue to use it

A nice hotel with 'older' style rooms that have some character to them. Check in lady was professional and pleasant. One of the most efficient breakfasts I've ever experienced. You're quickly sat at your table and order taken and delivered quickly. Food is of very good quality.
