The stag at maidwell is a lovely cosy pub to visit. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the Angus Burger and if the Lemon Merengue pie is on the sweet menu you must definitely try it. Will be coming back soon. Many thanks.

This is like stepping back in time visiting The Blitz Tea Room. The moment you step inside it's charm hits you. From the music of years gone by, to the decor and memorabilia all from the time of the war. It has a great feel to the place.
We were seated promptly and attended to with hot drinks quickly, whilst we selected our food options. The menu is small and select, with options such as sandwiches, paninis, omelette, jacket potatoes, salad, sweet and savoury afternoon tea, and a selection of cakes and desserts. Our food was all delicious, and the service was second to none. I only saw two members of staff during our visit and only one out front taking orders and serving, but you wouldn't have known it. I cannot fault anything about our visit and will definitely be back.

Perfect Gammon steak Shame Anglia Water didn’t get there act together and fix the water leak that’s closed the main Northampton to Market Harborough Road for three days affecting the business with poor signage coming from Northampton They could have said Access to The Stags Head not affected

Lovely relaxing place to have a weekend gateway. You can treat yourself for a spa treatment or chill by the pool. Breakfast is quite nice and rooms are cozy.
