Brief visit but a lovely village pub..with a spacious and pleasant beer garden the visit was topped off with a tasty pint and friendly service.

This was our second visit but this time the standard of service and food had dropped massively. Our sharing starter had to go back as it wasn’t cooked properly ( this was after waiting 45 minutes despite there only being three tables ordering!) We waited another twenty minutes- the waitress almost launched the replacement at the table - 5 minutes later then brought more bread which was supposed to be warm but wasn’t . When the main course arrived - it was large and well cooked but the waitress seemed to behave as if we were an inconvenience. Sad to say but I will not be returning !
Having just seen your response to my review - I can give you full descriptions of the staff involved but I’m not sure you would do anything anyway! So I will put this down to ‘ one of those things’!

One of the most friendliest village pubs around. Robert and his team always welcomes us with open arms. I hold 2 or 3 meetings here a year with up to 16 people and it is never a problem. Keep doing what you keep doing.
