This is a family business on a farm, what they offer has grown in size and variety over the years. Lots of places to sit and eat with lots of tempting goodies and object d'art to take home with you for a fee. Great for presents, cream tea treats and fresh food, well cooked with a great outdoor space and a play area for kids to run around and let off some steam while waiting for their food. Seems to be yummy mummy and grandma central.

Lovely place and really friendly service.
But, very expensive for what it is and very limited options if you don't eat meat or bread. The carrot and cumin soup was very bland with nothing to balance the sweetness and I ended up not being able to eat more than a few spoonfuls. The chips were nice though.

My sandwich was amazing and I loved the gifts they sell some things were horrendously expensive and others not so. Bought a lovely scarf for £15.00

4 of us arrived for a coffee. 2 had soup and 2 had fruit scones . The scones and the soup were delicious, but all 4 of us found the coffees were only warm. I told the waitress who said she would let the kitchen staff know. I would have thought she would have offered to replace them.

Lovely festive afternoon tea. Plenty to eat, as much tea and coffee as you like. Would go back

Very disapointing. I had a salad nicoise which came with freezing lettuce and no tuna. There was no butter but some greasy marge. The service was very pleasant though.

Menu is a bit limited, fairly expensive for a sandwich £8.50,it was nice but don't think it justifys the price tag,not sure we'd visit again.

Arrived without a reservation on a Saturday lunchtime and the place was super busy but luckily managed to squeeze us in.

The place is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside.

Had the spicy sweet potato soup to start which was delicious and then the steak and ale pie with mash and peas and gravy. Wow, was super impressed!

Other dish ordered was the brie and bacon sandwich which was disappointing but otherwise would return for the pie.

Fantastic atmosphere, and decor, picked up a few items from the shop on the way out Belvoir cordial, farm eggs and home made coffee and walnut cake which was packed full of whole walnuts and tasted sensational.

Overall super impressed and shall be returning!

Update: returned and ordered the quiche and salad, spicy sweet potato soup and steak and kidney pudding. Another winner!
