I went recently with a large group for lunch. The food was excellent and hot. The staff that looked after us, were wonderful. I appreciated the help given me by the gentleman staff. Nothing was too much trouble from the moment we went in and the Proprietors can be very proud of both of the staff that attended us.

This is a two in one review. First is the Italian Night on Friday 27th October 2023. Absolutely amazing. The food was very delicious. The service was excellent. The staff are amazing. We are looking forward to the Mexican Night that has been promised for the future. Second is the Dining in the Dark. This was by candlelight on 31st October 2023, last night. It was Halloween themed and we tried the pumpkin soup....ahhhhh. Wonderful. Once again the staff were very attentive. We met some lovely people and it won't be long before we will be back. Amazing place, friendly staff, plenty space for parking, very tidy, lovely playground for kids. Has lots of outdoor sitting and most delicious cake and coffee.

Love Dovecote buttery and it’s been great seeing it develop over the years. Good food (very tasty Sunday lunch), lovely venue with home accessories to tempt the wallet and always a great atmosphere. Ring to reserve before you go because it gets busy.
