The Blitz...what can I say...what an amazing idea...when I first walked in...I was immediately taken aback by the wonderful atmosphere, the decor, being taken back in time to first world war living room and drinking the most divine coffee in exquisite China to the tones of Winston Churchill in the background.it is such a uniqueeexperience and so very diverse from the chains of coffee shops ...a wonderful find I cannot rate highly enough...the evening entertainment night's are also fantastic and so memorable and warm

The whole atmosphere is AMAZING and if given the opportunity I would even volunteer to work there just to spend more time in there. A friendly welcome into this intimate venue full of Nostalgia even for those too young to remember it the first time round. Good wholesome food and some amazing tea (complete with teapot and brew timer). Easy access on foot with town centre parking and buses not far away.

I love how unique it is. How friendly the staff are. I have been a good few times now and every time I have come away happy. They make a real effort in there to make you feel like your back in time. My 2 year old son loves it there because of the milkshake and big slab of cake. It is the best coffee shop I have been in.
