It's such a treat to visit the Blitz for lunch and well worth the 12 mile journey. As the name implies it is sett in world war 2 and is very authentic. It has a very friendly atmosphere. The staff are helpful and always willing to make sure your time is spent happily. Oh and the food is great.

This was our first visit to the tea room. The service was excellent. We ordered afternoon tea for two. We were amazed at the quality and quantity. The setting is absolutely lovely and the staff very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely return.
