Came for the first time for grandma's 95th birthday. Travelled 150 miles but worth the journey. Ambiance true to form. The warmth and welcome was immediate, nothing was too much trouble when asked. Prepared to go the extra mile and best of all everything was done with a ready smile, politeness was of the essence.

Always receive a warm welcome from the staff. The atmosphere is second to none, cosy, relaxed and very homely. A wonderfully varied menu which has always been superb and fabulously presented. Would highly recommend.
