Royal Court Theatre, Kensington and Chelsea

The Royal Court is a miracle: it was the most interesting, exciting theatre in London when I first went there more than fifty years ago, and it can still make that claim now, when there is much more competition for that title. The health of the Court is a marker for the health of theatre in Britain.

Royal Court Theatre, Kensington and Chelsea

For over 50 years, it has acted as the favoured academy of playwriting for the significant majority of young and leading British playwrights. Its recent resurgence, under its present artistic director, is the single most heartening aspect of London theatre in the new century.

The Rembrandt Hotel, Kensington and Chelsea

We stayed at The Rembrandt London last Summer. The hotel room was very comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly and the location was fabulous - in the centre of London's amazing tourist attractions!

The Red Cross, Kensington and Chelsea

I always pop into the Red Cross shop whilst shoping on the King's Road. Some of the clothes are of great quality and going at amazing prices - all for a fantastic cause. Friendly, helpful staff as well.

Grosvenor Gloucester Road Casino, Kensington and Chelsea

I recently went to the Grosvenor Casino for an evening with family and friends. We wanted to do something different and this was certainly the venue to pick. We had dinner which was superb, value for money and great service! Then we hit the tables. The Casino was buzzing and there was a great atmosphere. I was particulary happy as I came out with an additional £200 in my pocket! Now that the casino is open 24/7 it is also a great venue to hold meetings or do work inbetween meetings during the day. The lounge/bar area has wi fi and tv screens to follow news and sport. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.
