The Space Within brings together women artists from London and across the South East who incorporate glass in their practice while approaching the material from a multitude of angles.
The exhibition title alludes to the versatility and lasting allure of glass, with objects ranging from vessels for domestic use to those holding memories, from figurative interpretations inspired by nature to abstract forms playing with texture, fragility and light.
All thirteen artists work with cast glass, individual techniques ranging from melting and moulding to fusing and carving - their collaborative display a contemporary introduction to an ancient art form.
