really enjoyed my stay at The Inn,rooms were decorated very well and very clean. Bed was huge which was amazing. Our friends were staying next to us so it did help that they could put us close by,instead of getting lost in hotels going from room to room. staff are also friendly too, would definatly go back
we had a long weekend in the INN Hotel and despite a noisy first night with traffic , the staff moved us to a quieter room .
This hotel is very clean and has a nice feel to it , very freindly , efficient staff, and a nice bar /restaurant.
breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was lovely.
a fifteen minute stroll to the town centre , feels longer going back up after a few beers !, all in all this is well worth a visit and represented good value.
My only critism would be that the hotel would benefit from air con.
Thanks to all the staff that made our short stay nice and easy .
The Inn Boutique Hotel is a great value stop. The rooms were very comfortable with the most comfortable bed I have slept on in years. The breakfast is great value for money, but don't order the scrambled egg with smoked salmon. For some reason it takes 45 minutes to get to the table and the eggs are cold and the smoked salmon is warm.....The waiter says that the Chef was defrosting the salmon...but the manager said 'No' it just takes that long ???
If you are a smoker, bring your thermals and a flashlight, the smoking terrace has no lights and no heat. Keep an eye for the cool WiFi room downstairs from the bar, because nobody on staff will tell you its there. We found it on our last night.
We dined at the hotel the first night, but our meal was so bad that we dined for the following 5 nights at the Royal Yacht, which is excellent and great value.
For accommodation, The Inn cannot be beaten, but do eat elsewhere.
I just returned from a short weekend break with my partner and I was very impressed with the Inn. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the ipod docking station in the room was a great idea while the wall-mounted LCD TVs were a good size for the room. It would appear that the hotel has recently been refurbished and it was generally spotless.
We enjoyed some fantastic meals during our stay. The Inn does a great full English breakfast to set you up for a day discovering the Island, while the evening dinner menu was varied with some great dishes! When you go - make sure you try the espedatas!
The bar was really buzzing with what looked like a mix of hotel guests and locals and was manned by friendly and attentive bar-staff. There are individual LCD TV's with headsets in the bar if you want to watch television over a drink and keep yourself to yourself!
The Nintendo Wii room downstairs appeared to be a hit with the kids! An altogether brilliant trip - we can't wait to go back!
We decided to give this hotel a re-visit since its upgrade last year. I cannot fault the service or the friendliness of the staff. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean.
We came over for a special birthday weekend and in comparison to the nightmare weekend we spent at the UMI in Brighton last year this was pure bliss.
We will be back.
A lovely hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff. We had a fantastic time. The restaurant is superb with a great choice of menu. We would thoroughly reccommend this hotel and will definitely return. Thank you so much to everyone who made our stay so lovely.
I recently stayed at the Inn in March with a large group of friends and was impressed with the quaity of accomodation and food.
It is located within easy walking distance of the main town of St Hellier and the staff are more than helpful to arrange those other little things that come in handy like booking cabs or the odd bit of laundry here and there. I woul dreccomend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a comfortable freindly place to stay for a few days or even a longer holiday.
We have got there using a £99 deal with flights and a car.
Room 144 on first floor/street side, was nice and clean, bathroom without any problems, and we had got everything we needed. The only minus was music coming from restaurant, on first evening it was ABBA and it stopped be noisy at 10pm.
Service was really good, the breakfast was big and the dinner excellent along with the staff.
Car park is a little bit tricky to get into it and it is on opposite site of the street.
It is a good enough place to stay, even we were almost all day outside:)
This place looks very groovy on their website and they do a have a few nice touches such as ipod docks in some rooms, but overall this is still a small old hotel which has had a makeover. 'Boutique' is apparently hotel-speak for 'small' and in this case that applied to our room, which was snug, and the tiny, non-functional, bathroom which was our main let-down.

We wondered why the toilet had a bizarre 'side saddle' seat which was at a 30 degree angle to the rest of it. When we tried to use it the reason became apparent - the 'throne' was shoved so far into the corner it could not be used in any other way. Even then we were squashed in with one butt cheek touching the cold tile wall and left knee perilously close to the red hot towel warming radiator. Without wishing to get too graphic, believe me when I say I would have needed to be a contortionist to carry out a normal bodily function which I have been practicing for 50 years. It is absolutely impossible to carry out 'the paperwork' in any normal fashion and I singed my elbow whilst attempting it. Whoever 'designed' our bathroom should be condemned to using it daily for the rest of his life. We suffered it for two days but if you do decide to stay here, avoid room 203 like the plague.

Apart from the these difficulties it isn't a bad place. Service is pretty good, the rooms are nicely decorated and the breakfast appetising. Only one small gripe with breakfast, the cereals sit out in open, uncovered, dishes which is not very hygienic and not conducive to keeping cornflakes crunchy. Surely it would be better to serve individual portion packs rather than encourage customers to go for the 'fry up' option instead? Car parking space is definitely very limited - I felt uneasy about having the staff continuously move our hire car around but thankfully no harm came to it.
We stayed at this funky boutique hotel for a deal of £99 flights, two nights B&B each.
Nothing was scrimped on, the bedrooms are gorgeous all black and white. Bathroom
clean. Staff great. Breakfast lovely have what you like plus always offering you more
tea and coffee. Location wise fine for a car as it has a small car park across the road but if you are
walking its on a slight hill and about 10 -15 mins from the heart of town.
We found The Inn to be generally clean with attentive staff and a welcoming atmosphere. However our 2 night stay was not a relaxed one. We had been given a room on the 1st floor above the bar and the noise from the celing mounted speakers was horrendous in the room, we had to complain 3 times on the first night to get the level turned down. They moved us to another room on the second night, on the same floor above the restaurant, our 2nd night was also extremely noisy due to a function in the restaurant which had a DJ thumping out relentless bass. So our relaxing weekend turned into a very stressful one and we were glad to get back to our own surroundings. My advice is do not stay on the 1st floor and possibly the 2nd due to the noise levels!
you always hope for the best when you book a hotel on line. well rest asured this hotel ticked all the boxes.great staff great rooms great food.only 10-15 minutes from town park across the road a bit tricky but we managed to park ok might be a struggle at peak time.we stayed at hotel for all evening meals as menu was varied and did not cost the earth.mohamad, tom and the girls were very much on the ball, without being over the top,and the staff realy made our stay feel like five star.
I am not sure why Trip Advisor continues to list this as a B&B. The Queens Hotel was, apparently, but The Inn has arisen from a transformation.
We chose it from the Jersey Tourist Board's brochure for its contemporary design and the promise of choice from "a fantastic menu of Fresh Fish . . . " We were far from being disappointed. We booked a five-day Christmas package, not cheap, but far from exhorbitant for the quality of the hotel and the food. Very friendly staff, especially in the Dining room (a young lady from Latvia, Mohammed from Tunisia, Tom from Kenya were truly great, nothing was too much trouble, but how hard they have to work!). The Prawns and Scallops deserve a special mention, but the quality of cooking was very good. You must be prepared for the hotel's location - a 15-minute walk down to St Helier, a little longer back up. Our room (305) was as requested, quiet, clean, well-fitted and spacious. I suspect it may have been an upgrade on the standard room booked. A final word of caution, check your "extras" bill on leaving: mine was massively incorrect. I'm fairly certain it was incompetence rather than anything more sinister.
We were actually booked into the Hampshire but it closed early for the winter. Found out thanks to reading a review on the Hampshire!! Unable to contact the Hampshire a few days before our hol - the Jersey Tourist Board helped via a phone call and we found we had been booked into the Inn (my second choice anyway -only because it was slightly dearer!). We certainly got a great hotel. We were in a newly done room 301 I asked to move (bed a double too small for us) moved to 304 (six foot) bliss. Tom in the restaurant made our stay - thank you Tom!. Food brilliant and plentiful made to order and requests encouraged. Only marked location down because of the tiny car park not an easy manouvre with a hire car. You leave your keys at reception as you may have to block someone in (I am not sure how hire car insurance would like this). However we only had to double park once when we were late back. Really need a hire car particularly in Winter did not see many buses on the roads. All Jersey drivers give way to anyone driving a hire car even when they have right of way!!!!! took some getting used to.
We had originally booked our three night stay on Jersey in a different hotel. We were advised about three weeks before our stay that our original hotel would be closing early for the winter season and we had been booked into The Inn.
The Inn is located just north of St Helier town centre on the A9 road. We regularly walked into the town centre and it took about 15 minutes. There is a small car park for hotel guests and you need to leave your car key with reception. In November, when we stayed, there wasn't any problem with double parking and other cars blocking us in - but I can imagine this being a problem in peak season - hence the need to leave your keys with reception.
We stayed for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. The room was fairly small - but immaculate. It had a LCD TV and radio. Our room was located close to the main road. Traffic was noisy - but died down condiderably after about 10pm and restarted again about 6am. Our room was warm - even in November and we had the bedroom windows open 24 hours a day.
Food in the restaurant was suberb. We had large portions of very tasty food for both breakfast and dinner.
Every member of staff we encountered were friendly and very helpful.
Overall a great hotel and I would certainly recommend it.
This hotel was not the one we chose but when our chosen one decided to close for the winter this was given to us by our agent as the alternative. Quite concerned initially as we especially required a quiet room as I dont sleep well and the staff seemed unfazed that we took three attempts to get the right room. We couldnt have been happier with our choice, the room was lovely, the bathroom was superb with state of the art shower, widescreen TV and DVD player. The meals were fantastic, huge portions, much more than I could manage but well cooked and well presented. Excellent service can recommend it. One slight drawback was the car park was on the other side of a busy road but Jersey motorists are so courteous that crossing the road was no problem. Another major plus was the hire of a complimentary of a DVD of which a good selection were available, fantastic for bad weather times. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
Arrived early rooms were ready and despite breakfast service having finished we were able to have a full breakfast. Stayed in one of the suites very clean and home from home.

Took our evening meals in the restaurant (we had a voucher for one of the Nights) food good quality and freshly cooked ( not just microwaved!).

The staff deserve a special mention as they were all pleasant, attentive and helpful a credit to the hotel.

The hotel is on a main road and therefore can be quite noisy at night with the windows open but that really is the only negative amongst many many positives.
We booked this for a three night stay and were very pleased with the hotel. The rooms were lovely and clean and spacious. The decor was nice and modern and the room had all that you would need .The beds were comfy and big with a lovely fluffy quilt.
We ate in the restaurant and the food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Al the staff were cheery and polite and very helpful - a pleasant change..
I would happily recommend this hotel...
This is one of the friendliest Hotels we have stayed in from our first welcome through to the treatment in the resteraunt. The rooms were exceedingly well equiped and very fresh and modern great shower and lots of channels on the TV and even an I-pod dock..what more could a teenager want? and a games room with computers on site too
I can only thank the Management and Staff for a really good stay and highly recomend it to anyone who likes good food and a great atmosphere
We stayed at the Inn Boutique for 1 week with our 3 children. We stayed in a luxury suite which i have to say, was very spacious indeed. The staff were all polite and very helpful at all times. The children found plenty of things to keep them amused in the games room which included a Wii and a Computer. The receptionist also downloaded pictures from the internet for the girls to colour in. The restaurant was very accommodating, the food very good and there was no problem asking for something that wasn't necessarily on the menu for the children. All in all, I would highly recommend The Inn Boutique to anybody, definitely a 5 star stay.
The website made this hotel look very very cool and boutique like. In actual fact the room was quite small, especially when you consider that we paid extra for a superior room, and it exceptionally hot at night without a/c. It looked out onto the bar terrace and smoking area which meant it could be noisy at night.

The food, other than breakfast, was pretty poor, and we weren't given the correct restaurant promotional vouchers we were told we would be. We ordered room service one night, and were very disappointed with the food, as garnishes were missing and the dish wasn't at all as described on the leaflet. The Wii room was disappointing as the console didn't really work or have all the necessary bits to play it, and internet access was bad. The only positive thing to be said was that the restaurant staff were very pleasant and helpful, which was nice but didn't make up for our overall disappointment.

Overall this is a very average hotel, but well below par for the price you pay for the room. We'd have definitely been better off paying a little more for a better hotel, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here, especially not on your honeymoon!
An excellent hotel where ALL staff are a credit nothing was to much trouble. When booking in our room allocated to us it was facing the busy patio area the receptionist quickly moved us to a superior room where we enjoyed the extra luxury's and quietness.
The breakfast's were a delight and the resturant was excellent this modern hotel is a jewel. The only downside is the car park which was a little small but the porters who parked our cars each night were brilliant.
I especially appreciated the free and reliable wifi, the laptop safe and the fan. I had a slight problem with the safe but after a call to reception that was swiftly and efficiently sorted out. The location is fine if you don't mind a short (approx 15 minute) walk to and from the centre of St Helier, and the recent refurbishment means that all areas are still in shiny new condition. Restaurant service is cheerful and the food very good, the breakfasts being especially impressive.
stayed for 4 nights, standard room. staff really nice and helpful, only downside is the small bed-not wide enough and the room was very warm and stuffy despite the window and fan being on, also the traffic from the road outside can be quite noisy. room very clean and otherwise comfortable, breakfast good.
Booked this through TravelRepublic and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. Hotel spotless, staff very, very helpful. Room beautifully decorated with flat screen TV, ipod docking station, WIFI access. Shower room great with power shower. Plenty of choice for breakfast and service excellent. Will definitely return again and highly recommend to friends and family.
