We stayed for three nights at The Inn and had a very pleasant stay. The room was a nice size with an incredibly comfortable bed. The hotel was on the outskirts of St Helier and it took us about 10 minutes to walk in to the shopping streets,

We also had dinner there one evening and it was excellent (definitely try the espetadas - delicious!) and the breakfasts were really good too.

Overall we had a very nice stay indeed. My only complaint would be that we asked for a quiet room with a bath. We got the bath but the room certainly wasn't quiet. This isn't entirely the fault of the hotel though, as it is situation on a major road and therefore in the morning the road noise is quite obvious. However, we were also given a room (number 305) which was above the beer garden which is where everyone goes out to smoke and on Friday night it was quite noisy.

After meeting Steve the owner all became clear, the hotel reflects the man.
Warm, friendly, clean with high standards of customer care.
Travelled extensively and this is on a value for money terms as good as it gets.

We selected the Inn during our January 2012 stay in St Hellier as a one night gap filler before taking a string of nights in the Grand Jersey.. The Inn promoted its fine dining, local cuisine. and professional service.
First the good news. The place presents well and has potential to satisfy. Car parking while cumbersome is well managed and problem free despite being in a lot across the road. The welcome and check in was friendly and pleasant.
Our room was spacious and well finished for the price.
But
the drain smell was overpowering, maybe because the exhauset fan was left on and drew in the odour from the bath drain but really it all means the plumbing was wrong. We requested it be bleach flushed and a man came with a botle of spay soap which was totally inneffective and we were left to suffer the smell for the night. . No offer of a room change.
The promised cuisine experience was accepted and we booked a table for diner at 8pm. On our arrival we were shown not to the dining room but to the bar tables where a football match was on the TV, rowdy enthusiasts merrily drinking and the menue not enticing. We had two starters each which were each so ordinary as I write this I can't even remember what they were.
To be fair to the Inn it may have been just off season and a quiet night, maybe they don't like happy Australians on holiday, but we were placed in a room a long walk away for a hotel with so many vacancies it wasn't worth openning the restaurant , and we should have been told the restaurant was not going to be open . St Hellier is not short of great restaurants we would have preferred to go to.
Others may have had a better experience of the Inn so don't judge them on our lousy time. But be aware on checking in to ask the bleeding obvious and demand the best available.

The Inn Boutique is a lovely wee hotel. The staff could not do enough for me and the food was well thought out, perfectly cooked and presented. Accommodation was a little cramped but I very comfortable.

This was a short break for my wife and me between Christmas and New Year and the Laterooms deal we were lucky enough to get proved to be all we wanted and expected.

We were greeted warmly and although we arrived at about one-o-clock, our room was available within 20 minutes. The room itself was one of the superior ones - Durrell in our case - and although quite small, spotless and nicely equipped with a few steps down to a modern bathroom. The hotel is on a hill and would originally have been two or three separate houses, so inside it's a little quirky with stairs where you wouldn't expect them. If mobility is an issue, it's worth mentioning this when booking. The hotel has a lift but the various levels could still be difficult for some people. Don't expect extensive views as the location doesn't have them - just enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.

The food, including breakfast, was universally good to excellent - although my duck stir-fry had more in common with "ping" than Peking. A bad choice on my part and the exception.

The (multi-national) staff in this hotel were superb and helped to make our stay as enjoyable as it was. Our visit was right at the end of their season but even though many of the staff had clearly had a busy festive season and were looking forward to going home (to Kenya in one case), they were friendly, chatty and exemplary.

For public transport users, there is a fairly regular service in and out of St Helier with stops right by the hotel entrance. The town centre is an easy fifteen to twenty minute walk, as is the Esplanade, where buses run to the airport and the west of the island - we walk and use buses a lot and Jersey is perfect in both respects.

All in all a very relaxing break and great value. The modern, quirky Inn Boutique may not be everyone's first choice but it should definitely be on your list. We will certainly be back as it suited us down to the ground.

Eaten here. Ow on a few occasions and it is a very friendly, very efficient and very hospitable place to eat. The biggest problem is the big standard menu! It is very elaborately printed on nice card with artistic covers, however as with many restaurants that fall into this trap, the menu is therefore too varied and is prepared en masse to enable quick service. Starter appeared to be deep fried straight from the freezer and was certainly. It worth the £6 price tag!
Mains were ok but beef espetada certainly didn't have prime cuts! Make sure your jaw wants a bit of exercise to chew through the meat; considering it was cooked rare just showed how rough it was!
The specials menu looked a better choice but onfortunately had too limited choice on (ie. only 2 mains).
Ok but for an £80 price tag for 2 I would have expected a better quality meal, regardless of how friendly and accommodating the front of house staff were

Stayed at The Inn for 2 nights over New Year in a superior room. Very comfortable room we opted for the walk in shower in preference to a bath, and whereas the bathroom was a little smaller than we expected, it was clean and well presented.
Breakfast was cooked fresh and plentiful, staff were helpful and very friendly. Will definitely be returning to The Inn on our return to Jersey.

I have stayed at The Inn a few times now on work trips. It's the only hotel I use in Jersey as it's in a good location, the service is friendly, the food is good and the rooms are comfortable. It's also good value compared to many hotels in jersey. Some rooms can be small and a little noisy and bathroom standards vary but overall I've been happy with all my stays here.

We have just had our first ever trip to Jersey to celebrate my hubbys 50th birthday and I am so pleased that we chose The Inn to stay at. On arriving in the car park we were greeted by a member of staff (Parval I think) who helped us with our luggage across the road - he also helped to park the car one evening when it was busy. In Reception we had a lovely welcome and the pack they give you is also extremely informative. We were then taken to our room and advised on everything in it - a nice touch. The room itself was great, had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. I read the comments about road noise and whilst we live in a vey quiet area, yes the noise can be irritating outside but unavoidable, and I suspect this would be the case for many Hotels in St Helier - however it didnt stop us having a good nights sleep at all. Onto the Food! Well, it was excellent, we had Room Service one night, ate in the Restaurant and also the Bar on 2 other evenings - the Chef is amazing. The breakfasts are divine, in fact we tried everything during our week there and cannot fault it. Tom the Waiter is also good fun. The Bar Staff are also worth mentioning - a lovely atmosphere is created by them and you dont feel as though you are in a soulless Hotel Bar, in fact locals use it, Georgina and Miguel (sorry if I've got names wrong) are brilliant - and the Mojito I had one night was one of the best Ive had and Ive had many!! The Chef also made my hubby a gorgeous birthday cake which the staff brought out with candles and sang HB to him - a lovely touch - thank you Ana for arranging this. So all in all, we cannot recommend this Hotel enough and if anyone is ever going to Jersey then they must stay here. Yes its a little way out of town but not too bad a walk and if you have a car then there is always loads of places to park (once you've sussed out Jerseys bizarre pre-paid parking ticket system) - but be assured that this Hotel will make your trip stand out even more - thank you THE INN!!

This Restaurant is in the Hotel we stayed in but we highly recommend that you go there even if you're not staying there. We tried the Bar Menu and were lucky to be there for the Tennerfest Restaurant Menu - all the food is well presented and well cooked - definitely worth a try!

We only live up the road from the Inn but had been meaning to go there for a while for dinner. We'd heard it was nice there but didn't really know what to expect. The food & beverage manager Miguel was absolutely fantastic, he was extremely welcoming and everything he did was done to perfection, from seating us at the table to recommending dishes with real passion. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and also one where you could happily go to casually but where you would also feel comfortable visiting when all dressed up. The four of us all had dishes from the Tennerfest menu and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, beautifully homemade. There was also a very novel player piano playing itself in the corner which created a beautiful atmosphere.
We were made to feel very special here and will strongly be recommending the Inn to others.
The only thing I would say is that I feel the Inn may miss out on a lot of business due to the lack of parking nearby. There is a car park over the road but it is quite an ordeal getting in and out of it! Would be fantastic if there was more available parking close by.

whilst we had to wait approx 30 mins for a table that was not surprising as it was a Friday night; but the wait was well worth it as we had an excellent tenenrfest meal

We booked this hotel on booking.com and got the best deal - only GBP120 for 2 nights for 2 pax. On top of the full English breakfast which is included in the rates, we were pleasantly surprised to find out there were also free flow of fruit juice, yogurt, pastries and fruit. Quality of breakfast was great!

Room was modern although not very spacious. There was also even a table fan provided. Bed was very comfortable, and very happy with the bathroom.

The hotel also provides free parking, right opposite of the street.

Overall, very happy with our stay there. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

We stayed at the Inn for 3 nights last week and were really impressed with the hotel itself and with the staff.
We got to the hotel early at 12pm, 2 hours before check in and we were just going to leave our car and come back but our room was ready and the receptionist was more than happy for us to check in early.
We booked one of the superior rooms and it was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was 2 single mattresses pushed together which I don't like but it didn't detract from a great nights sleep in the comfy bed. Our room was near a busy road but we didn't hear any noise from the traffic and the curtains kept the room dark on a sunny day, perfect for a holiday sleep in.
There was an excellent choice for breakfast and the cooked breakfast was really tasty. We didn't eat dinner in the restaurant while we were there as we had other plans but it was busy every night and we'll definitely eat here when we stay next time.
This hotel has a really modern contemporary feel unlike a lot of Jersey hotels and the staff really made us feel welcome and have a professional but relaxed approach. I'll be recommending this hotel to anyone I know visiting Jersey.

Great location. Breakfast of high standard and well presented. Room was small, but enough for what we needed. Main concern was that road noise was more than you would expect through double glazing.

I'm very fussy about my hotel stays. The Inn was a great place to stay. The staff are just great, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Excellent service. The breakfast and evening meals are excellent. 10 minute walk from the centre of town. Bedroom was on the 3rd floor with a lift going there. It was a good family size bedroom, clean and well decorated.

just come home after 4 nights at the inn (for a second visit). our room was much smaller this time with just a shower (not a problem for us) and we had a resident pigeon on our windowsill which started at 6am cooing n never stopped. obviously long term due to pigeon mess on window sills.
but the staff are fantastic and we loved it. there was a bit of silly trouble on our last night (from some residents) which meant we didnt get to sleep at all. but the staff handled it brilliantly. i cannot fault the staff in any way, they were fantastic. its a great place to stay and i will visit again. think the pigeons need to be sorted as they were on our windows all night.
but cannot praise the staff highly enough, the breakfast was great and so was our tennerfest meals.
would stop here again without a minutes thought.

Just back from a lovely weekend in Jersey, made memorable thanks to the staff at this gem of a hotel. Great location - just a 10 minute walk from town shops and restaurants, great food - plenty of choice and beautifully presented, great staff - nothing is too much trouble and always service with a smile! The bar and restaurant were lively and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Funky, modern decor without being too pretentious (though I'm not sure about the TV fire!). Rooms were lovely, if a little on the warm side (really the only criticism), comfy bed, decent shower, all clean and well decorated. We'll be back...soon!
