Great hotel and staff. Stayed by accident due to a ferry being cancelled whilst on a bike packing holiday but the guys were really accommodating. The breakfast was good. Rooms were perfect. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. I’d definitely go back.

My and my friends have decided to try something new, go to a place we’ve never been before and we’ve decided to take a trip to The Inn and I’m glad we did! Nothing beats a cheeky cider and black and a lovely fish and chips on a sunny day! The general manager and the bar manager both took fantastic care of us throughout our experience so the food and the service were spot on, definitely would recommend this little gem!

Had my 30th birthday party at The Inn last August and have to say what a lovely afternoon we had. My girlfriend organized a Hawaiian themed party in the Terrace area witch they allowed and even helped her to decorate. Staff was exceptional, always there to help.
Food was superb! Beautifully prepared and presented and so tasty. Well worth the money for excellent food, excellent service - we will be back!

We are just back from a lovely week in jersey staying in the inn . The first room we were given we were very disappointed with so much so that we were considering writing off the £700 we had paid up front for the week and booking somewhere else . The Bedroom room was very small (bathroom was huge ) And it overlooked the main road which was extremely noisy . The room was also extremely warm and the electric fan in the corner done nothing to cool it down ,opening a window just made the traffic noise worse . However we spoke to lovely receptionist the next morning who offered us a different room without question . The difference between the rooms was light night and day . The second room was beautiful and spacious and had air conditioning too . The actions of this receptionist charged our experience (1st time in jeresey). From disappointed to delighted . The receptionist even offered to get our luggage transferred by a member of staff . In the course of transferring to the other room my husband managed to leave 3 pairs of Tommy Hilfiger shorts in a drawer. These were quickly retrieved by a staff member and delivered to our new room . We were very impressed with the outstanding customer service .The staff in this hotel without exception are the hotels biggest asset . Sorry didn’t get their names but the bar man come handy man and the receptionist deserve a special mention .
We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning and also throughly enjoyed an evening meal from their extensive menu.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to return . Be prepared to walk if you do not have a car as the hotel sits on a steep incline approx 1km outside the main square/shops etc though .

Nice hotel in a good location, parking opposite but has limited spaces and not ideal for big cars. Rooms are clean and comfortable, shower good, all that you need. Our room 203 was on the small side and near to the road which can be quite noisy especially in the mornings. Also in front of window is smoking area so you can hear people 2 floors below. Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly. Would stay here again.

This is the second meal at The Inn in recent weeks. As a local it has always been a favourite of our whole family. The service and welcome remains really good. There is definite need for a few tweaks to the food though.
On my previous visit two weeks ago I had the burger. It was relatively small and overdone yet served on a very crisp and large unsuited ciabatta. The coleslaw was like a cheap version from the local shop. This time I had beef espetadas. I asked for beef medium but it was so over cooked it was burnt in places and beyond well done. The six pieces of meat came with 7 home cooked chips. It Definitely needed a salad or additional accompaniments and for the price was very disappointing. Not much needed to return to previous high standards but a review of how things are cooked and what they are served with is needed.

We stayed in mid March for 3 nights for my Father in Laws 80th Birthday visit to Jersey. Sadly we cut short our trip my one night due to the uncertainty over the virus and pending lock downs. The hotel its self is in good condition very clean with great friendly staff, room very comfortable and was cleaned every day. Location is just out of town but that was not a problem for us as we had a car which we could park adjacent the hotel. Breakfast was excellent very filling to set you up for the day, we eat one meal of an evening which again cannot fault excellent failure for money, plus a great bar area. Overall would recommend this hotel and if returning to Jersey would stay here again.

Stayed for 2 nights in a twin room for Jersey Reds v Newcastle Falcons game. Hotel in a good location just out of the centre but only a short walk in. Twin room was fine, shower was a bit weak though. 2 single beds were a bit narrow for big lads but very comfy. Didn’t eat but the bar man on the night had great conversation and would have talked all night.
Excellent value

lovely hotel clean and tidy every type of gin stocked at the bar with wacky tonics, bit of a walk from town but staff were excellent. Food is great with the Portuguese based menu the breakfast was also note worthy.

We have been staying at the Inn over the weekend, and had dinner in the restaurant on the first night, and breakfast on two. The food and service were both excellent, but we found the dining room rowdy in the evenings, but this was our only complaint.

We had a lovely ground floor room, which was very comfortable, the bed was at least 6ft wide, the sheets were Egyptian cotton and it was one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had. Our dinner was absolutely delicious and very tasty. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The bar had a good selection of gins and it was open until 1am. It is also a pet friendly hotel as a couple of guests had well behaved dogs with them. We also had a good selection for breakfast. Continental or cooked, accompanied by tasty hot coffee..

I have been to the Inn many times and written good reviews before. On our latest visit it appears that whilst the menu has not changed I believe the chef may have because the food was so different.
I always have the scallops to start and this time they were much smaller in size and not nearly as nice. The champagne sauce was very different too, it now comes with peas but the sauce tasted just like a cuppa-soup! I had the Burger for main course, it was different again but still nice but the french fries were overcooked and the coleslaw tasted shop bought (the very cheapest variety). My wife had the Beef sizzler, this was also different and not as nice. On the plus side, the desserts were good and had not changed. The staff were as courteous as ever.
Will we rush back? Probably not, which is a shame.

All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Food and drink were fantastic. Was nice to have a bluetooth speaker in the room, listening to music whilst getting ready. Room above took advantage of this till 1:30am! Still I would recommend The Inn to family and friends here in Guernsey.

Nice look and feel to all areas. All the staff were very good and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was superb and Unusually for us, as we like to try different restaurants, we had dinner twice in the hotel during our 3 nights, as the food was excellent. The the tomahawk steak was really good.
