A wonderful overnight in a first class, very central hotel where staff were excellent and food superb. I have stayed in the Pomme D’Dor on may occasions over the years and it’s high standards have never lapsed. Right in the heart of St Helier I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel especially to folk who like to be within walking distance of the main shops.

Fantastic stay- friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. We were caught in storm Eunice - staff did all they could to help rebook flights home and extend our stay.
Meals in the bar were delicious. Beds comfy. Perfect location for all areas and especially the bus terminal. Would recommend 100%

The hotel was clean and the décor was lovely staff were friendly and the evening meal I had was very good. Our bedroom windows were double double glazed so excellent soundproofing. The bathroom was a good size not cramped. Beds were large and comfortable. The lift needs turbocharging though.

We had a lovely room, very comfortable and spacious. The hotel is in a great position in St Helier, close to amenities, the bus station and the beach not far away. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and easy to get around. The staff were excellent and so very helpful. Highly recommended.

The hotel was very nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfy.Fantastic buffet breakfast. Right in the centre of the town, so everything was close. The bus station was right outside , from where you can get all over the island.

Central position, helpful staff, we upgraded to executive twin as original room was opposite a pub and was noisy, Traditional hotel with few walk in showers, which are necessary for some guests. Breakfast was excellent.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a few nights and found it to be excellent. It is ideally located and very comfortable. The staff on both reception and in the dining area were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, well furnished and spotlessly clean. I would recommend the Pome d’Or to anyone visiting Jersey.

Just returned from a lovely holiday in Jersey. Always stay at The Merton, but decided to try the Pomme D'or for this trip. We weren't disappointed. It's in a brilliant position. (Bus station across the road, with excellent bus service) Rooms overlooking the harbour and Liberation Square are a must. We had no disturbance from traffic etc.. due to quadruple glazing.
The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, with everything we needed. Air conditioning and a fridge were a bonus! The decor in the room and throughout the hotel was classic and in keeping with the period. The Harbour room was excellent. Breakfasts were amazing, and the Asian buffet was tremendous! As a vegetarian I was worried there may not be too many choices, but no need to worry as the choices were in abundance. Lots of help and advice from the chef Sumit. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and polite. Difficult to remember all the names, but Anderson and Frankson who were often our waiters were always friendly and good humoured. Duncan also did an amazing job around the restaurant.
We ate a few times in the Cafe Bar, but there is no booking system. At busy times you may have to wait for a table as it is very popular. The Harbour room offered carvery each night, except for Asian buffet on Friday) Would have been nice to have a la carte menu offered.
We were lucky enough to be there at the Liberation Celebrations. It was a wonderful day, and a privilege to be part of it.
A No.15 bus leaves the airport every 15 mins, so no need for taxi.

see title.
Also benefit of use of spa in sister hotel and cafe / bar and pub as a part of hotel. A wider choice of hot food at dinner would be appreciated. Staff are uniformly very professional , friendly and helpful.. Cleanliness and decor are first class.

This hotel came highly recommended and lived up to, and exceeded expectations.
Centrally placed in Liberation square, welcoming and very helpful staff. Excellent buffet breakfast supervised by Duncan who even managed to provide kippers ( my personal preference) although not actually on the menu. Lunches in cafe on ground floor. A variety of dinners available in the evening looking out over the square and harbour ( great value too). The basement cocktail bar with excellent variety and choices and music kept us going late into the night.
Very helpful staff delivering wonderful service.
Very convenient to explore both the town and island and bathed in history particularly of the 1940s.

Provided a good standard of service across all aspects of the hotel. Inconsistent service of room, not an issue. Would have liked the offer of Al a carte menu served for dinner. Great location but some noise at night if at fear of hotel.

We chose the Pomme d’Or Hotel in St Helier for our short break to Jersey due to the excellent reviews and were really glad we did.

The hotel is really easy to get to from the airport by bus or taxi. We chose the bus and the No: 15 bus takes you to the St Helier bus station which is 100m from the front door of the hotel.

We booked a Premier room which gave us views over Liberation Square and the Marina and had the added benefit of a small sofa. As we were on the 4th floor and it was very quiet. Our room rate included breakfast each morning and there was a really good selection to choose from, including a hot buffet. We didn’t eat in the restaurants at night as there were plenty of option to choose from around St Helier.

All the staff we met were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast team of Duncan, Mukund, Merloni and Nassim went out their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

As mentioned earlier the close proximity of the hotel to the bus station makes it an ideal base from which to see the island using all the bus routes. We paid flat fare on all the buses using contactless cards which made it very simple. The hotel is also a very short distance to the main shopping areas in St Helier.

This is a great hotel for a visit to Jersey and would go back if we ever revisit the island.

We spent five days there last September liked it and came back for the Liberation Festivities. We were able to book the same room which was nice. Cleanliness was excellent as was the service. Good breakfast and a lovely cafe bar downstairs if not wanting to eat out. I understand most people seem to like hard beds but I wish hotel as a whole would cater for those of us who like our beds softer. So easy to do by having a bed topper available. This is an observation rather than a criticism . Its a great holet with good food and excellebt staff.

A wonderful experience sharing Liberation Day with the people of Jersey.
The hotel was central to that and we were 100% looked after, the room was excellent the food was tasty and well presented and the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Mukund was our personal favorite he was always cheerful and positive. Would recommend and we will definitely be back again..
It was a memorable few days made extra special by the hotel staff being so friendly and helpful.

Really nice hotel, the staff were very friendly, and quick to help with a wake up call and give advice of the bus schedule and facilities in the hotel. The hotel room was perfect for a business trip. The hotel itself.is right on the square, near the Liberation bus station. Super handy, as you can get the no. 15 bus from the airport that takes around 15-20mins to get to the bus station. The bus station is on the same street as the hotel, just across the road and up to towards the square on the left.

Had a lovely stay at the Pomme D’or- helpful staff, especially Grace who kept me well informed of options when I arrived earlier than check in. The room was nice and clean, and the hotel offered a variety of food and drink options. Amazing central location too, was the full package!

Really enjoyed my stay . and the food has been excellent all week, but I have to single out the Asian cuisine chef, Sumit. Some of the best cooked Indian food I've ever had.

All the staff have been very helpful and courteous, but I must single out Hukmud for being particularly helpful. Nothing has been too much trouble for him

I'm looking forward to coming again to the Pomme d"Or based on this experience.
