Totally delightful!! Good value for money full half day. All the keepers talks were fun and knowledgeable. Lots to learn about conservation. Our favourites were the Gorillas and the fantastically cute baby Orangutans.

I haven't been to a Zoo for over 50 years specifically because I do not like to see animals in captivity. Jersey Zoo has overturned my objections, clean and well designed, with the inhabitants and visitors both clearly in mind.

The feeding and keeper presentations are fantastic and it is very obvious that the welfare of the inhabitants and their species are clearly in the forefront of every one of the Zoo's endeavours.

I may never visit another Zoo again however; Jersey Zoo should be on every CI visitors tick off list.

Fantastic day at Durrell's Jersey Zoo. We got there before 11am and initially worried we'd got there too early as many creatures seemed to be sleeping still. Soon found though that for most creatures there were viewing windows or guys where you could see them if they were inside rather than out. Do take every opportunity to speak to the keepers. They were all really friendly, knowledgeable and happy to talk about their wards. So many fascinating accounts and inspiration to do more about conservation and climate action.

Nice zoo but map and tracks don't match, could do with number markers to follow map numbers.

This was one of my favourite places on the island. It is also called Durrell. But they are trying to call it Jersey Zoo now to make it more obvious what it is. Called after the famous Gerard Durrell who done incredible work for animal conservation across the world. This was his zoo. Princess Anne still visits and meets with Lady Durrell at the zoo. You will know the Durrell story if you watch ITV ‘The Durrells’. This is a must visit on the island. It is only a short bus ride or taxi journey away from St Helier.

Amazing place to go. It is incredible and has lots to do there aswell as helping endangered animals. They really do look after the animals well and my son loves seeing them (his favourite were the flamingos). Hope to be visiting again soon!

Absolutely magnificent, we walk in a huge park, and we discover random avenues of animals which look happy in very large enclosures hidden in lush vegetation. Here, these are endangered species that we protect and reproduce with respect for the environment. Don't also miss the butterfly greenhouse: a magical place where you are dazzled by all these insects flying around you.

Absolutely wonderful, so many animals and birds to see. Some of the enclosures are filled with quite dense foliage but they're all for the animals rather than to make it easier to see them. The tamarins are allowed to run loose and can right past us within a metre. Loads of knowledgeable staff and plenty of information boards.
