Not so much a zoo, as a wildlife park. Various tracks lead you around the animal enclosures, with much left as wild as possible. The animals are not all the :"usual supects", but more the endangered type. Do not expect to see your usual zoo layout, but something more relaxing and a good dayout.I πŸ¦πŸ¦πŸ’πŸ¦.

Love visiting Jersey Zoo. The Zoo is designed around the animals and not the public. The main purpose is to help endangered species. Some animals are not on view to the public as their health and welfare comes first.

Excellent conservation zoo to visit with all the family. My particular favourites are the Western Lowland Gorillas - Badongo the silver back is my particular. The zoo does excellent conservation work across the world . Visit highly recommended.

Very educational place and works on projects that helps endanger animals stay as close to their own natural habitation...

Fantastic, the conservation they do is wonderful. Keepers are really dedicated to their animals and all have room to roam about. These animals are not caged. The firefly cafe serves wonderful meals and breakfasts. Why not do what we done and stay at the Durrell Wildlife camp. Glamping at its best. Wake up to a dawn chorus of Flamingo, Lemurs, possibly Howler monkeys and cheeky red squirrels.
