slightly underwhelming experience.(dont want to be negative so will try and review in a fair way)We visited towards the end of summer timings.(25/09/20) We started at 1630 as really wanted to whizz through.Staff were polite but a lot of the attractions were closed early.2-3 places were closed due to covid (fair!),Reptile and amphibian bit closed at 16:30(this was advertised at the attraction but we weren’t told this while buying the ticket) There were other things (Butterfly area, bat areas) that were closed prematurely and there was no timing on them. The shop was closed before 1800 too.I can see the staff wanting to leave at 1800 & it not being busy with the pandemic and thats understandable but just felt bad that everything was closed prematurely even though ‘supposed’ to be open till 1800.
Would advise people to do it earlier on in the day and not as a part of the day trip.
Toilets were clean, plenty of play areas to keep the kiddos happy

Fabulous place. They put the wildlife first and do brilliant conservation work. The zoo is well planned and is a lovely place to walk around. You will see mainly endangered animals here that may not be with us much longer in the wild. I would say this is a 'must see' destination on any Jersey holiday.

Very nice zoo, clean with great facilities. The only reason it's not a 5 star is because the variety of different animals is small

Jersey zoo is still one of the must see sites in Jersey. Concentrating on preservation of endangered species instead of wow factor animals in other zoos you get a greater impression of caring about both the animals and the homelands of the animals in their care. Recommend the keeper talks to gain more information about each species
Picnic tables around to bring your own picnics plus a cafe inside and a restaurant (not tried) at the entrance

Appears to be a very well run zoo. You need 3hrs at least to appreciate it all. Cake and tea at the cafe was pretty good too.

Definitely the best zoo I have been to. Animals are all active and healthy. Supurb enclosures as close to natural habitat as possible.

Lots of monkeys. Birds, frogs, snakes. Gorillas 🦍 five large ones and a baby nine months old. Information centre and a cafe. Some enclosures seem a bit over grown.

A wonderful, if small zoo. A real gem for the island. Great work in conservation and the creatures they protect and nurture are beautiful to see.

A really great zoo overall, although definitely on the smaller side due to its location. Some really interesting animals on offer here, like the extremely rare Aye-Aye, and all the animals seem to have spacious, well thought out enclosures. Staff were all friendly and one of the keepers gave us a really interesting talk about the bats in the bat enclosure. Was a great trip for a summers day.
