For me, the Victoria is what Hitchin is all about - Understated, caring, community based, cosy - not too showy with a Sixth form common room kinda vibe! Just like a true best mate, they invite you for dinner on a Monday night and are just down the road when you need them! My favourite night ever, twas the weekend before Christmas, the snow laid deep and crisp and even and the place was rocking! The windows were all steamed up and the only thing visable was the faint twinkle of the Christmas lights. We opened the door, and BAM! Christmas had started early! You deserve to be loved!
