We can't recommend the Vic enough! The staff are so friendly - they always go out of your way to make sure all your needs are catered for - thanks to the land lady Vic, who's customers always come first. It's one of those great pubs that you can go to all year round. If its rainy and cold you can snuggle up infront of the fire with some hot soup. If its hot, there is the lovely terraced garden and they always do an amazing BBQ. The good thing is there is always something going on -you can sign up to their facebook group to see events and the Monday night menu. The new barn extension is amazing too, Vic went out of her way to style the barn with candles to make it romantic for my wedding anniversary and we've also been to private parties there. The barn is a great venue to hire for a small party, especially in the summer with the garden! One of the best pubs in Hitchin!
