Everyone is welcome to come and join in from 7.30pm on the 25 October 2011 at The Cross Keys pub, Burbage for the Burbage Community Arts Festival AGM – you may even end up choosing some of the acts!

Chairman of BCAF, Laurence Wilkins said:

“This year we are opening up our annual festival to individuals who wish to help decide the choice and mixture of events, assist with preparation, organisation and publicity, so that there really is something for everyone in Burbage”.

He added:

“The committee is a friendly, informal, enthusiastic bunch of local people, all of whom just want to stage a series of great entertainment  events next May - the AGM is an opportunity for more people to get involved and have their say and help to shape this popular local community event”.

Organisers of the Burbage Community Arts Festival are hoping to build on the success of the 2011 event, which included ...

  • a sell-out Bavarian Night
  • stand-up comedy
  • classic films
  • a traditional village Fete in Pugh’s Paddock

... as well as the now legendary Wednesday Night Live with free live music in six venues across Burbage.
