Vine FM Back On-Air for Easter
23rd March 2010
... Comments

I can't wait; it's going to be a fantastic nine days of broadcasting and I feel privileged to be a part of it.  It takes a lot of organisation and a number of dedicated volunteers, under the banner of 'Churches Together', to help bring the station to air.

Over Easter we will have news, music, local information, coverage of Easter day services, interviews with leading local vicars and much more. Programme highlights will include Breakfast with Paul Bamberger, Drive Time with Ben Williams, Christian artist profiles, a show called More Tea Vicar, and our own version of 'Desert Island Discs.'

During the week I will have a dual role; from March 29th to April 2nd I'll be compiling and reading news bulletins, which will be broadcast live at the top of each hour between 10am and 4pm. I'll also have my own current affairs programme, called 'News and Views,' which will go out live three times during the week, they are:

  • Monday 29th March  (1-3pm)
  • Tuesday 30th March  (Midday-2pm)
  • Friday 2nd April  (Midday-2pm).

During these slots I will have top guests, fantastic music (both Christian and secular), local information and chat.

Do please join me and, indeed, the rest of the excellent Vine FM team for what is sure to be a really special and memorable week of broadcasts, celebrating what is one of the most special weeks for Christians around the world.
