Great news just released by the Concordia Theatre, Hinckley. PRESS RELEASE - At its Annual General Meeting tonight, theatre members will be formally informed that the contract for the Concordia Lift Scheme has been signed and building work starts imminently.
All the hard work in fundraising has finally paid off and the theatre, along with a little help from its many friends throughout the Borough and beyond, has now raised the required monies to proceed.
Members and societies within the theatre have contributed very generously, as have individual donors both large and small, friends of the theatre, local charities and the Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council.
The support of the people of Hinckley and surrounds is most greatly appreciated for this project, which will allow access to disabled people in wheelchairs and greatly improve the accessibility for residents with mobility problems.
