Well this weekend we put that right and paid them a visit together with two of our friends……excellent!
The restaurant offers great value with a choice of one, two or three course options. Only one in our group managed to get to three courses! The service was efficient and personal and the food just excellent. My chicken and Red Pepper Salad starter was superb and you could just smell the aromas coming from it as it was put in front of you. Between us we sampled three of the roast dishes, the turkey, beef and lamb. At the end the plates were empty, which says it all. I had the roast lamb, four generous slices of tender meat in the most delicious gravy. Think it won't be too long before we make another visit!
Why not give Sunday lunch at the Butlers House Restaurant a try yourself but recommend that you do book a table because it got quite busy at the peak time for lunch but they are open until 4pm now for Sunday lunch.
