26th April 2011

The final countdown is on and we have just over two weeks to go to this year’s bigger and better - 2011 Burbage Community Arts Festival.

Organisers are so delighted to be able to welcome back Helen Barrett and her backing band. In 2009 Helen and her band achieved a sell-out show at the Festival where she wowed the crowd with a breathtaking selection of steamy jazz classics.

Film buffs are also in for a treat in this Royal Wedding year, with an afternoon screening of multi Oscar winning ‘The King’s Speech’ and an evening showing of another unashamedly British classic ‘Made in Dagenham’ on Wednesday 18th May. A great opportunity to see British film making at its finest, just in case you missed out first time round!

The 16 live events over the 8 days of the Festival will take place from:

  • Saturday 14th May to Saturday 21st May 2011.
