Rosanne, who will be 12 years of age just a week before the Open Mic competition, played the lead role in the Trinity Players pantomime last year and will play the part of the princess in this year’s Treasure Island. Her next achievement and challenge has been to battle her way through the auditions over the summer to make it to the finals of Regional Live Final of the ‘X-Factor style’ competition organised by Open Mic UK.
Rosanne says “I just love singing and performing and though I am always nervous before an audition or performance I just love it. Even if don’t get through to the Area finals and then through to London at the O2 Arena, this will still be a great opportunity to perform live to a big crowd. I am asking all my friends and family to come along and support me and hope the people of Hinckley will support me too.”

The venue for the Regional Final will be the Leamington’s Royal Spa Centre, Newbold Street, Leamington Spa, CV32 4HN and will take place on Saturday, 25th September. The doors will open at 1pm for a 1.15pm start and the final will last for just under 2 hours. With 28 very talented regional finalists, it will be an excellent show.
