Hinckley & Rugby Building Society was looking for a striking image to feature on literature and promotional posters for its new Premium Saver Easy Access Account and found the answer at Twycross Zoo in the form of the zoo’s popular recent additions, snow leopards Irma and Suou.

In return for a donation towards the animals’ upkeep, Hinckley & Rugby Building Society was given permission to use a dramatic shot of one of the snow leopards, which are the centrepiece of the new ‘Himalaya’ Visitor Centre at the zoo near Atherstone.

Hinckley & Rugby Marketing and PR Manager Stewart Heeley explained: “For a number of years we have used images from the animal kingdom on literature for our savings accounts and these make eye-catching posters in the windows of our branches across Leicestershire and Warwickshire.

“With the launch of the Premium Saver account, which we believe will become very popular with both existing and new customers, we ‘spotted’ the chance to link up with Twycross Zoo in a unique partnership.

“We are delighted with the dramatic image which Twycross has given us permission to use and feel sure it will be a roaring success with our customers.”

Twycross PR/Marketing Executive Kim Riley added: “Irma and Suou are proving very popular with visitors to the new ‘Himalaya’ centre at the zoo but we did not envisage them starring in the windows of 11 building society branches!

“Hopefully some of the Hinckley & Rugby customers who open a Premium Saver account will want to come along to the zoo to see the real thing.”
