Dick Whittington is being performed by the Barwell and Earl Shilton Pantomime Company, also known as Stageworks, at the George Ward Centre on Church Lane in the village.

Two performances are being given, a matinee at 3pm and an evening show at 7pm. It's going to be good fun for all the family! Tickets cost £4 for adults and £3 for concessions and are available from the George Ward Centre (where I work as a Centre Coordinator) and it's set to be well attended, so do make sure you book your seats.

This is going to be a great event to kick-off a fabulous year of events in Barwell for 2011. I hope to be able to provide you details here on the Best of Hinckley Blog-so that whether you're from the village or other parts of the borough, you can take part.

With these events and the great community occasions, we are able to show once again that we have Pride in Barwell, a fantastic place to live.
