Paradise Wildlife Park is a small zoo, which focuses on big cats and activities for children. We spent three and a half hours here and we usually spend a lot of time on zoo visits.
The highlights included the big cats, where we saw a rare white Bengal Tiger, White Lions from South Africa, Snow Leopards, Jaguars and a Cheetah.
We really enjoyed both Birds of Paradise shows we saw, the trainers there did a great job.
The Red Panda feed and talk was also a highlight, as it's the only time the Pandas will become active.
The zoo definitely focuses on children and keeping them busy, We visited on 19th September and can see how the zoo is going out of season, as a lot was closed, including the crazy golf, which actually looks worn out.
As mentioned by others - £3 for parking seems to be a bit of a joke, it's not like people who are not customers would use the car park, it's in the middle of nowhere.

We took my 2 daughters aged 5 and nearly 2 and my 2 nieces aged 8 on new yrs day. Had a really good day out. Some of the big cat enclosures seemed a bit on the small side but this is a conservation zoo and all keepers seemed very enthusiastic , knowledgeable and the animals well cared for. The park was well kept clean and tidy. All the kids loved the attractions and rides like soft play and slides. The train not running on our visit but a short tractor ride sufficed. The cafe was good value and food good. In the summer I might be inclined to take a picnic as I think the cafe could become very busy. All in all a great wildlife park and attraction.

Having my 5 year nephew for the day myself and mum thought we would take him along to his first wildlife park. He was very pleased to see the play ground as we were driving in. I have pre-booked the tickets but was surprised how expensive it is for a kid to get in, My mum uses a scooter to get around which was very easy for her. Our only issue was not being able to get her up on the higher levels to see the tigers.
I thought the dinosaur trail was good fun tho my nephew informed me that they were not real even tho he got to stroke one. So sweet.
I was pleased to see the animals and cages all looked well looked after. All the staff we spoke to were very helpful. It was a Monday that we visited so not that busy but im sure at the weekends its v popular.
I think will return again in the future.

We visited today as our 4 year old son loves Big Cats, especially Snow Leopards & Dinosaurs. Despite the horrible wet weather, (typically British), we had a truly amazing day. The Dinosaurs are just fantastic!! The new White Lion enclosure is amazing & the Snow Leopards were beautiful. All of the animals enclosures were clean, very well maintained & perfect. All of the staff were friendly & helpful, especially Hanna the Big Cat Keeper who went out of her way to make sure our boy enjoyed seeing the Snow Leopards.

A fantastic day out no matter the weather. We visit often and there’s always something new to see, do and learn about.

Unlike the larger zoos, the keepers are more visible. The keepers are so friendly and no question is too much, they are knowledgable and have great customer service.

The new lion enclosure is amazing, you can really get up, close and personal with the beautiful white lions.

We have become members of the zoo and plan to return for the special weekends planned throughout the year to support the amazing endangered animals they look after.

My wife and I took our nearly 2 year old grandson to Paradise Wildlife Park at the weekend. It consisted of the prehistoric world of animatronic dinosaurs from T-Rex to Brachiosaurus, Velociraptor, Stegosaurus, Diplodocus, Triceratops, Pteranodon etc as well as the real Animal Kingdom of big cats such as cheetah, snow leopard, jaguar, lions, tigers, monkeys, wallabies, emu, lemurs, zebra, tapir, otters, alligator, snakes, cockroaches +++. This is a fabulous wildlife park with lots of things for the younger children to do including an adventure play area outdoors, an indoor soft play area, a jungle stage with regular performances by the staff. Plenty of options for food but quite expensive ( nearly £5.00 for a cheese and pickle sandwich and a similar amount for a large hot dog) but there are picnic areas so best option is bring your own food to save some money. If you book online you can save some money. Adult tickets at around £18.00 online are good value but young children at around the same cost is expensive. Having said that, the park is a good one and this is an all day activity so probably on a par with the cost of other theme park sites.

Took our grandchildren here. We'd bought our grandson a sponsorship of one of the park's red pandas and this was his chance to see them. He was very happy to be able to get so close. In fact throughout the park this was one of the best places to see animals at close quarters. There are plenty of food outlets including one that is up on a walkway near the tigers - great to get close pictures. The dinosaur park area was voted a lot of fun too. Good mix of things to do for kids with play parks.

Went to Paradise Park last Sunday (16th June) and had a fabulous time.
Really beautiful and amazing animals to see, and the new White Lion Enclosure
is really stunning, and you can see the lions so clearly where ever they are, and you can even see them when they go indoors, wonderful for photographers.
They have a lovely collection of animals, beautiful snow leopards, tigers, jaguars,
cheetah to name but a few. Lots of things to keep the children amused, and the park
is also ideal for people in wheelchairs and plenty of area to sit and relax as well.
I think there is something for everybody.
Well worth a visit for anybody who loves all animals.
