An event to celebrate books, stories and storytelling in a series of free, fun, relaxed and family-friendly activities at Hertford Castle.
This year will see the return of firm favourites: local author showcase involving more than 40 authors, book talks and readings, workshops, storytelling, Baby Rhyme Time with Hertford Library, the wildly successful Book Exchange, with all leftovers going to local charities, plus book-related craft events, face painting and more.
The Herts Book Festival is an annual festival that draws inspiration from the huge number of talented authors we have on our doorstep. The event is free and suitable for people of all reading ages and abilities – because books and stories are for everyone.
