Programmes

The programmes offered by Ware Girlguiding are designed to meet the diverse needs and interests of girls and young women at different stages of their development.

  • Rainbows: girls aged 5-7 who participate in fun and educational activities that help them to develop their creativity, teamwork, and confidence.
  • Brownies: girls aged 7-10, build on these skills and work towards badges that recognise their achievements in areas such as outdoor adventure, arts and crafts, and community service.
  • Guides: girls aged 10-14, take on more challenging activities and opportunities for leadership development, including planning and running their own events and projects.
  • Senior Section: girls aged 14-18, have the chance to participate in international trips, gain valuable life skills, and work towards the prestigious Queen's Guide Award.

Volunteer Opportunities

In addition to these programmes, Ware Girlguiding also offers opportunities for adult volunteers to support the development of girls and young women. Adult volunteers can get involved in a range of roles, from helping out at meetings and events to serving as leaders and mentors for young people. Volunteer positions are open to people of all ages and backgrounds, and no previous experience is required.

Support

Ware Girlguiding is supported by a dedicated team of volunteers who work tirelessly to create a safe and inclusive environment for girls and young women.
