We find the White Rock a lot cheaper than London prices and the staff are always polite and helpful. You can see quite well from most viewpoints in the theatre. We loved the panto this year and look forward to more great productions in the future...

The White Rock Theatre is like a second home to me. I always feel welcome and the atmosphere is never anything below warm and open. I have performed here and worked here various times over the years and never have I had a problem. The theatre is alway's organised and communication is outstanding. Staff are friendly among customers and colleagues and I am yet to fault it. Without the love of this theatre over the years, I would not have discovered my true and undeniable passion for theatre and I wouldn't be where I am (or as happy as I am) today.

Best place to see the big names of entertainment in my local area. Have seen a few comedy shows here now and its always well planned out and easy to buy a pre& post show drink. will defiantly stick to this venue in the future.

The Theatre’s programme is varied and includes one night concerts, musicals, drama and an annual pantomime. I have been visiting the theatre since I was a child and I have always had a great experience. In the last few years, the theatre has become more popular and has been providing better quality performances as well as better use of the hire spaces. I personally love this venue and hope that it is continues to be successful in the future.

Fabulous venue with great staff and acts. I have been many times over the years and there is a noticeable buzz around the place as of recent. Could things be on the up for the theatre. I think so.

The White Rock Theatre is the beating heart of the town - always a hub of activity and pre-show excitement. A place where you can leave your troubles at the door and escape into theatre land, with the experience staying with you long after you leave your seat. A brilliant venue run with passion and dedication, and a place where I can always feel at home.

I love the White Rock Theatre for the variety of shows that it hosts. I have had my theatre experience broadened thanks to the diversity of their shows. I've attended things from "I'm sorry I haven't a clue" through to Circus of Horrors and everything in between. For less than a price of a night out on the town I can treat my partner to a wonderful evening in front of live entertainment. Plus I like telling my guests that the theatre has 1066 seats to coincide with the Battle of Hastings!

Great theatre, with great shows. I have not experienced customer service as good as The White Rock in any other south east theatre i have visited. Cafe has lovely views of the coast and soon to open pier.

Amazing Panto. From the Fantastic voice of Jessie as the Fairy Godmother to the comedy genius of Ben Watson as Button. Stunning costumes and set. A must see.

been here many times over the years and never been disappointed. friendly staff and all been helpful. all shows we have seen have been good and well worth the ticket price. good food served here as well, and again at a good price. best to book up in advance though as it gets busy. well worth a visit.

We have been to the White Rock a few times over the years and overall it has changed very little. On this occasion we saw Slade and it was a fairly packed house. The gig took me back to the 70's so a great time to reminisce. The auditorium is not too large so you get a good view from most areas. I'm not sure if the stalls area has removable seating but as most of the audience got out of their seats this area would have been better suited to a standing concert. The upstairs bar seemed a bit chaotic and drinks prices were the usual high price expected at a theatre.
Toilet facilities could be vastly improved and certainly more facilities for the ladies.
Overall a great gig reminding me of those halcyon days!! Rock on!

We went to see Buddy, the Buddy Holly musical. We had seen it in the west end of London and it was always good and this touring one was just as good. We sat in the front circle, but have sat in the front row in the stalls before and you have a good view of the stage whever you sit. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We have never been disappointed when we have seen a show here and we have been go I'm going since the 1980's. Just recently we have seen Joseph and Caranby Street. There are ample toilet facilities and a lift to every floor a nice bar and big restaurant overlooking the sea. Its very reasonably priced. Great theatre.

As our hotel was next door we went twice during our stay, seeing Showaddywaddy and a Carpenters Tribute Act. Both good shows.

This is a restored Art Deco theatre, built as a music hall but now showing music shows of all descriptions...original acts, tribute shows, opera...you name it. It's not huge so you get good views from most seats. It has a bar and a restaurant. Each show seems to cost around £20 per person, which is not bad.

Check what's on...you'll be surprised.

went with a group of 10 people this week to a very busy theatre on a monday night. I didn't make the booking but noticed that we were split up over two rows for some reason. Acoustics were good but the thing that bugged me was during the interval I went to buy refreshments but could only pay in csh - no card facilities. Its 2015 guys and you need to get it together more - VERY typical of Hastings- so behind.

A great venue for live music - unlike larger venues, you can get up close and personal with some talented acts - we very much enjoyed the Illegal Eagles - not to be missed when they visit again next year! The theatre staff were very friendly and helpful. A great night out!

Love this place, it's a bit rugged around the edges but in some ways this add's to it's charm, plenty of variety in the shows and some bigger names appearing here too, also plenty of choice for families inc pantomimes and kids shows/events. Pricing is reasonable for a theater and always recommend it, you can sit virtually anywhere and see the stage closely.
