Richard made choosing the perfect pairs of spectacles for me easy. The first frames he showed me I chose for everyday wear and the second pair for sunglasses. Everyone I've met since having my new specs has commented positively, the best comment coming from a teenager I know "They're not old ladies glasses". With regard to the sunglasses, Richard did explain the science behind the lenses, suffice to say they are the best and most comfortable sunglasses I have ever worn. A very personal service provided by EYEMASTERS. Needed a pair of varifocal lenses. I was explained fully what to expect and how they work. It was great advice as it did take a few days to get used to them. My 22 year old daughter, new school teacher, also purchased a pair of specs and again the time that was given to her and the glasses she ended up getting were great. Charming personalised service. Apart from the wonderful range of frames on offer, attention to detail was the best I have ever experienced resulting in a product with which I am supremely happy. Recently had an eye test, new glasses required! was quoted nearly £400 for new varifocal lenses with all the coatings for driving etc. fitted into my frames! I shopped around, but all similar price! I am really very pleased with the service and product I have from Eyemasters. Richard is very creative and can therefore offer solutions which the High Street cannot offer. Since my prescription had not changed from two years ago I had the opportunity to explore some additional options. I had my old, well loved frames from 10 years ago fitted with new lenses as computer/readers. They are the same prescription as my recent readers but they are clearer - the lenses are superior quality. I also wanted some varifocal sunglasses - especially for driving. Richard suggested I had a graduated lense so that reading a map or a menu outside meant that I didn't have to remove them - great idea! They are still fantastic for protection despite the graduation. I chose a frame from the Struktur range made in France. They are beautifully made and I love them. I also had a pair of glasses with yellow tinted lenses for driving at night. They reduce the glare from oncoming headlights and really help with driving tiredness. They also make a grey day brighter which increases visibility. Richard is passionate about what he does and incredibly experienced in eye wear across the globe - just ask him how many countries he has worked in. The range of products covers classic to fashionable. He really takes time to get the right eye wear for you and, most of all - he cares. Great customer service is paramount to him and it comes through in everything he does. I recommend him wholeheartedly.
