Stephen Fry about the Healthy Planet Land adoption scheme. "My mother will love the idea of a gift that supports a conservation project here in England, it's a mother's natural instinct to think of their children's future, so it's nice to say thank you in this way. This is quick & easy to do & will be fun to give her. Don't tell her because it's a surprise! Become my neighbour & support conservation by adopting a plot in any of Healthy Planet's protected parks around the world." "Healthy Planet has sent me a personalised Land Guardian Certificate to give to my mother, and she can look at her adopted land on the Healthy Planet website - when she clicks on it, she'll see a photo of the two of us and a plaque dedicated to her."

When I needed someone to talk to, they were great. They didn't judge and made me feel someone cared. The information they gave me was very helpful.
Wormholt Park Community Association
Set up in September 2010, Wormholt Park Community Association is a group of local residents who lobby Hammersmith and Fulham Council for better facilities and funding for the park, its playground and sports facilities. The group will be active in all areas of community action to secure this over the next few years.

In the first month since a public meeting on 22 February, 70 people have become Friends of Wormholt Park!! There is a real buzz growing locally and now is the time to get involved. 2011 is going to see the start of this neglected, but much loved, local park turn a corner and become a real community gem in W12.
