We arrived a bit weary after delays with Condor Ferries and our first impressions were what a lovely place to stay. We were showed to our room which was very spacious and immaculately presented. As it was dark we didn't appreciate the sea view until the morning! We ate in the Ocean restaurant, the steaks were cooked to perfection and the staff were very friendly. I had a swim in the pool on Sunday morning before breakfast which gave you so much choice it was difficult to decide what to eat. We were blessed with sunshine the whole weekend and would recommend this hotel to friends and will be back but perhaps not on the ferry!

This is our second visit to The Fermain Valley Hotel and we were not disappointed.
We Stayed in the Venue which is a steep walk for some but if you have a sea facing room it gives the most wonderful sea views. The room was very large and comfortable.
We ate in both restaurants which were excellent. The service was great and the Sea Bass particularly delicious.
Lovely gardens
Small but warm indoor pool.
The cinema is a bonus which we used. Sitting n large comfortable seats and we took our own DVD to watch.
Will definately be back again.

We booked to stay at the Fermain for four nights on a half board basis. We were not disappointed with the hotel or its location. The facilities, rooms and staff were superb, just what we had hoped for. Unfortunately the half board experience was not so good. We were only given the option to eat in the Ocean restaurant, not being a fish lover this did restrict my options. The menu was the same every night so after two nights I had to resort to having a starter and dessert. Despite this criticism I do have to say the food I did have was absolutely first class.

Very welcoming reception staff. Spacious room with lovely views. Spotlessly clean. Courtesy vehicles very useful. Excellent food including Tennerfest menu - be sure to book at this time.

First time in Guernsey, picked the Fermain Hotel because of the good reviews. We were not disappointed. Friendly, informative staff who made us feel very welcome. The hotel was spotlessly clean and had a comfortable relaxed atmosphere to it. The views were stunning and the beautiful weather made it all the more enjoyable. We ate in the resturant twice. On both occasions the service was timely and the food was first class. The ultimate test for a hotel is whether you would return and the answer to that is - yes we certainly would.

At the end of July myself and my Wife stayed at the Hotel for a week celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary we booked a platinum room for this special occasion the room was superb the views from the balcony fantastic and the little extras supplied in the room made things that extra special.
The first evening we dined in the Ocean restaurant the food was delicious and the restaurant staff made us feel very welcome and looked after us nothing seemed to much trouble for them. In the morning we came to the restaurant for breakfast spoilt for choice is an understatement
The second evening we ate in the Rock Garden Steakhouse again superb best steaks ever.
The evening of our anniversary we returned to our room to find cards from the Hotel Staff congratulating the both of us and Roses and Rose petals on the bed.
We made good use of the indoor heated pool walked through the fantastic gardens down to the bay.
The Hotel also has its own courtesy car to take you to and from the airport and also into St Peter Port. The bus stop is just a couple of minutes away you can go anywhere on the island for £1
Both of us had such a great time we returned again at the end of August for another week of pampering.

Having recently spent 8 days at the Fermain Valley Hotel I have to say that the welcome we received from all the staff was excellent. Our room and the view we had over Fermain Bay was lovely. The food was also good and we would hope to return next time we visit Guernsey

Spent an amazing 3 nights at this hotel with my partner. We were met at the airport and taken to the hotel in the courtesy bus. My partner has a mobility scooter and this was no problem. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were made so welcome. Such friendly staff who go overboard to help you. The view from our room was just lovely with a small balcony to sit out and admire the sea view.
The room had complimentary sherry which was a super touch. It was lovely to have bath robes and slippers provided. Fantastic wardrobes!
The food in both restaurants was incredible. My partner said it was the best steak he had ever eaten! Again the staff were so attentive.
The hotel has wonderful outside space with comfortable sofas and chairs and even a delightful cinema which we had all to ourselves.
This has to be the most friendliest hotel we have stayed in and couldn't fault it. Can't wait to return.

Another stay, this time just for one night. If anything, this was an even more pleasurable experience than previous visits - which I would have thought was impossible! All my preferences were remembered from previous stays. I had a really comfortable night in a Gold room on the front of the hotel. A lovely bathroom, with a superb walk-in shower made things absolutely perfect. I enjoyed a glass of (complimentary) sherry in the room, as usual. Housekeeping remains impeccable. Viera was once again a real star. This does not take anything away from Dan, or any of their colleagues. The English breakfast in the morning was lovely - probably the finest bacon and sausages I have ever had, and superb scrambled eggs. The "Tennerfest" dinner menu was lovely, and very reasonable. I had recommended the hotel to some new found friends, and they, too, much enjoyed their stay. A separate review may be posted by them. Once again, the courtesy car service was invaluable. As usual, I was really sorry to leave! I am returning for another overnight stay in six weeks, and I shall keep returning. This is one of my two favourite hotels of all time. My heartfelt thanks to the whole team.
