Stayed for a week for our 40th anniversary. Only downside was a very small balcony, but it was more private than the larger balconies. No Aircon, but we kept the balcony door open all week and used the fan a couple of days, which was fine. Slightly bigger than average room, plenty of storage. Comfortable bed. Great pool and spa facilities. Great coffee and fab breakfast. Lovely staff all through the property. We hadn't planned to, but ended up eating in the Terrace bar every night. Good variety and all tasty. I'm not a fan of a service charge being added, but we chose to just accept it. Central position, nothing was far away, we drove but there was a bus stop outside and we picked up a meal deal lunch at Waitrose most days.

Yet another absolutely stunning Guernsey location, with panoramic views across Fermain Bay, with Jersey in the distance
A lovely bar meal of perfectly cooked Steak Ciabatta with salad and fries for £19, washed down with a Rekorderlig cider (£7)

We stayed at the Fermain Valley Hotel for a week, the hotel is in a perfect location just a short walk to Fermain bay. Every member of the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable 3 night stay. All staff were very efficient and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Huge thanks to everyone I spoke to. Absolutely loved everything about Guernsey and will 100% return to OGH next year. Keep those traditional old school values going!

Very nice family stay! The hotel is truly magnificent and the team is very professional. A special mention to Kris, whom I would like to thank warmly for her great kindness and all her little attentions that brightened up our trip. Don't change a thing!

We had the most fabulous 6 night stay here. The room was spacious and had everything we needed (air con would be the only thing missing!). The location is stunning and just a short walk to the beautiful Fermain Bay. The grounds and the gardens are immaculate.
Breakfast was delicious and had everything you could wish for - likewise the evening meal in the Ocean restaurant & in the Rock garden were fantastic. Food is certainly expensive on the whole island as are drinks.
The swimming pool was perfect and the cinema room a lovely touch.
Whilst not marketed as a kids friendly hotel, we have never stayed anywhere so inclusive - the little touches such as the dressing gown, the puffin on the bed, hot chocolate at breakfast, milk & cookies before bed - all made it so special.
Above all we will remember the impeccable service from all the staff - they really made our stay so wonderful.

Excellent Hotel could not fault it ,the food the facilities and in particular the staff nothing was to much trouble .
Nelly on reception was such a lovely girl who’s smile lit up the room and so very helpful booking our trip to Sark and the museum
