Marcel at Firstcall Recruitment has done an amazing job in helping me move jobs when the time was right for me. He helped me get my first job when I was a school leaver and 7 years later he's found me a job which I'm hoping is the best career for me. He was always there to help and support me, either a phone call or email away to ask advice. He gave me pointers on what kind of questions I will get asked in the interviews and also provided me with websites and information he knew about the companies to give me insight into what the companies are about. He also sat with me to go through the interview process and gave me pointers and guidance on how to tackle questions that most interviewers ask regularly so I wasn't put on the spot. We also discussed what questions I should be asking and if I got to the second interview what I could follow up with. I really appreciated him getting me both of my full time jobs, and also the fact that he still keeps in touch to make sure everything is going well.

Cannot recommend the guys at Firstcall enough! I have been with a number of different recruitment offices over the years but never have they been as good as my experience with Dion at Firstcall. You’re kept in the loop at all times, not forgotten! And if like me you don’t have all that much experience with office related roles they really help boost your confidence before going for interviews. Really can’t thank them enough! As someone who had only experienced a single workplace, the prospect of leaving my first job was quite daunting! I wanted to ensure that the next step I took was the right one for me but I didn't know where to start. I was recommended Firstcall by a friend and was put in touch with Marcel and went from there. I met with Marcel and discussed everything from reasons for leaving my old job, what I was looking for in a new job and expectations of the local job market. Firstcall assisted me in creating a professional CV and profile based on my experience in the industry which would appeal to employers. I was provided with job descriptions in various roles at numerous local businesses and was updated regularly on progress with enquiries. I was briefed before interviews to help me ensure I was well prepared and asked the right questions for me to make the best decision for me. Firstcall were very proactive and professional and listened to my needs first. It was refreshing to speak to someone of a similar age in Marcel who could associate with my experiences and who seemed genuinely motivated in doing so and was more than happy to help. What really impressed me about the business was the fact that there was such a focus on the needs of the candidate as well as on employers' needs. I was also impressed by the friendly and efficient atmosphere - I would frequently receive replies to emails within minutes, and the friendly approach meant that I was confident the company would help me find a position that I would be happy with.
