Sarnia Arts & Crafts Club invites all artists over the age of 16 to take part in our Plein Air Painting Competition to take place on Tuesday 19th June 2018.
This year the designated painting area is at The National Trust of Guernsey Les Caches Farm, Jubilee Walk and Surrounding Fields.
Entrants must bring their chosen media (canvas/board/paper etc) to Les Caches Farm, Le Gouffre from 9.30am - 10am on Tuesday 19th June where it will be officially stamped and their entry fee of £5 per media (£3 per media for Sarnia Arts & Crafts Club members) will be taken.
Any number of items can be stamped but only one finished piece per person can be submitted for judging.
Entrants may then choose any vantage point within the designated area to paint from.
Finished entries must be brought to Les Caches Farm on the same day between 4.30 - 5pm. No late entries will be accepted.
A panel of judges will select their favourite entry and the winner will receive £100 cash prize and have their name inscribed on the Sarnia Arts & Crafts Club Plein Air Trophy which they may keep for one year (in the event of a non local artist winning, the trophy must remain in Guernsey).
The winning entry along with all the other entries will be on display at Les Caches Farm from Wednesday 20th June to Friday 22nd June from 10am-4pm. all entries must be collected from here at 4pm on Friday 22nd June. We look forward to welcoming artists of all skills to take part in this fun competition.
