So, thebestofGloucester were involved in a Christmas Golf day at Sherdons Golf Centre with the very best that Smartline, Severn Signs, and The Glostonian had to offer.
It was a great day starting at 8:30am with a full breakfast (of course) followed by a very cold tee at the first. The course itself was beautiful with snow, frost and ice all over and certainly playing its part in each and every shot! some interesting approach shots and putts, a 14 on one hole alone (no names mentioned!) and two great tee shots on the same hole that managed to go straight ..................... into the bushes 20 yards to the right (Andy!)
Abid, Mo and the boys all had respectable scores and seem to be loving their new found golfing hobby. Rob from Severn Signs was always in the mix with some great shots on the long holes. James from the Glostonian was thankful for the nicotine after some of his shots but did end up with a good score too. Andy from thebestofGloucester, despite his frustrations came good in the end with some brilliant approach shots and putts to come in 2nd. But the winner of the day was my good self, finishing 4 shots clear after a good steady game throughout. Very pleased.
And so thank you to Smartline, Severn Signs, The Glostonian and of course Sherdons Golf Centre for a great day with plenty of amusement and laughs. It certainly was good fun and was great both personally and for the businesses involved as it proves to be a great opportunity to forge new relationships with companies you may not have had the chance to meet otherwise.
