Morning Gloucester!

Just a quick message from Marketing Gloucester LTD.

'Olympic Torch Relay

As many of you will have heard, the Olympic Torch Relay will be making its way through the streets of Gloucester on the morning of the 24 May. The Relay starts at Gloucester's Historic Docks where they will be cheered on by an armyof well-wishers as the symbolic torch drops in on our iconic Cathedral, up London Road, past the University of Gloucestershire's Oxstalls Campus before heading back to the city along Kingsholm Road and Gouda Way.

Check out the full route of the parade on the City Council's website or download a PDF of the map.

Gloucester City Council is looking for volunteers to help steward the Olympic Torch Relay. If you are available and would like to be involved with this momentous occasion, please email Karen.pearson@gloucester.gov.uk'

We think this is going to be a brilliant day to show the rest of the country what Gloucester has to offer! We’ll see you there in 3 days! J
