thebestofGloucester teamed up yesterday with Gloucester Rugby stars Luke Narroway and Charlie Sharples, along with London Irish fly half Ryan Lamb to promote the sale of the brand new Help for Heroes 2010 calendar.
Along side the rugby players was Special Serviceman Lance Corporal Matthew Croucher who has been awared the George Cross in recognition of his bravery during his time serving in Afganistan.
It was a fantastic day for the shoppers of Gloucester who all had the opportunity to purchase a calendar and have it signed by both the players and Matthew Croucher himself.
Great credit to the general public of Gloucester who, through the sale of calendars and donations managed to raise over £1000 for the Help for Heroes campaign. Thank you Gloucester.
