'Gloucester’s award-winning Tall Ships Festival is set to return this summer. The fantastic family event takes place on and around the water at Gloucester Quays and on the city's historic dockside, and is shaping up to take place during the August Bank Holiday weekend (26 - 27).
Gloucester Tall Ships is the most popular event staged in the city, having attracted more than 75,000 visitors in 2009 and picked up the Silver Award for 'Best Event' at the South West Tourism Awards. Expect stunning Tall Ships, live music and entertainment, arts, crafts and kids activities, exotic market stalls and great food and drink, all in a wonderful waterside setting close to the heart of the city.
