Glevum Security provide cover for the ‘Stroud on Water Festival’
That’s right! Our very own Glevum Security were contracted in to provide security officers for the event at the weekend.
Andy Element, head of security for the event had this to say before the weekend.
Glevum will supply a team of licensed security personnel to be on hand around the clock at the Marling School site.
“They will maintain a discreet presence to give re-assurance without being intrusive,” said Glevum’s Andy Element, who will head up the team. “That’s the secret of good security – being on hand to stop trouble before it starts.
“We will be providing 24 hour cover from 2300 hours on Friday through to 2300 hours on Monday. There will be six officers on duty during the day and cover at night as well.
“As parts of the site will be licensed, there is a legal requirement for door supervision so will have two licensed door supervisors at each of the two entrances to the site.”
The event featured a Soft Play Bus for kids, Climbing Wall, Craft Tent, Walking with Llamas, an ENORMOUS bouncy castle, 3 Stages, Licensed Bar, Fireworks Display, World War 2 Spitfire Fighter fly past and much much more!
