Seven free roadshow events will showcase the opportunities on offer for delegates and provide details about how to become an exhibitor at GBS 2016 at The Centaur, Cheltenham Racecourse, on May 18-19.

Each roadshow will include a range of speakers, including from the GBS, Moose Marketing and PR and the host venue, plus refreshments, and the opportunity to network with like-minded people.

Organiser Antonia Coles, from County Business Shows, said: “These events are a fantastic opportunity for businesses to ask questions, find out about what to expect at the Gloucestershire Business Show, why they should attend and what’s in it for them.

“There will be a Q&A session as part of the schedule and plenty of time for networking. Tickets are free and easily accessible via the online links we have provided to http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/county-business-shows-6382040739

“Last year’s inaugural Gloucestershire Business Show was acclaimed as a major success, but this year’s promises to be even better.

“It’s a rare chance for a range of companies to come together and share information under the same roof and we’re confident everyone who attends will garner lots of invaluable knowledge which they can profit from in the future.

“There will be something for everyone across the business spectrum – from start-ups to multi-nationals – and we’re looking forward to providing lots of details at the roadshow events.”

Last year the show welcomed 130 exhibitors, 140 speakers and 2,000 visitors, with more than 120 people attending the Gala Dinner which raised £4,200 for local charity the County Community Projects.

The GBS16 will see a new layout to guide delegates around every part of the show and the event will be free for visitors over the two days.

There will be space for 140 exhibitors offering a wide range of stand sizes and costs, designed for the micro SME through to international corporations, plus an awards evening and a Gala Dinner at Pittville Pump Room.

The show will give delegates an opportunity to speak with a wide range of business people, including CEOs, managing directors and business owners, learn about new business initiatives in Gloucestershire, source products and suppliers and increase sales.

It will include a main stage featuring keynote speakers and expert panel sessions, two further stages featuring Q&A sessions, seminars and workshops and a fourth stage presenting sessions by exhibitors and sponsors.

There will also be a Business Advice Centre, Innovation & Technology, Cyber and Training and Development hubs offering advice and seminars as well as networking spaces, meeting areas and networking breakfasts.
