This 350 year-old pub started life as a 17th century craftsman’s cottage which has been gradually and tastefully been extended on its way to becoming the delightfully cosy countryside venue full of interesting nooks and crannies that it is today.

The whole team work very hard to keep the Black Horse the kind of pub that draws locals and guests alike together as a community within the village of Fulmer and encompassing the neighbouring towns and villages. By making sure that food and drink is of excellent quality yet sensibly priced, and by regularly getting involved in community affairs and running events in support of the community, the Black Horse Fulmer management and staff team consistently bring cheer, warmth and joy into the lives of the many locals and guests frequenting this marvellous venue on a regular basis.

The Black Horse is without doubt an asset to the wider community around Fulmer and a wonderfully characterful place to visit just a short distance from the lights and bustle of London.

The Black Horse has three cosy bars and a restaurant which seats up to thirty five people along with the extensive gardens and terraces providing a variety of charming outdoor seating areas which can be used for either relaxed dining or tranquil al fresco drinking.

BLACK HORSE LOCATION

The Black Horse Fulmer pub is in the middle of lovely countryside and is on the Beeches Way Walk. It is a popular stopping place for both walkers and cyclists from Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, Stoke Poges, Farnham Common and the surrounding areas of Bucks.

Nestling as it does between Gerrards Cross and the famous Pinewood Studios in Iver, home to the best of British Film making with all the James Bond movies to its name, the Black Horse is a super place to stay when visiting Pinewood Studios or the National Film and Television School in nearby Beaconsfield for any reason.

The Black Horse at Fulmer is a pub which really is at the heart of the village with numerous benefit nights for local clubs, societies and charities as well as being closely involved in all the village activities.
