The Black Horse at Fulmer has won the hearts of locals and guests alike and it is easy to see why!

This 350 year-old pub started life as a 17th century craftsman’s cottage which has been gradually and tastefully been extended on its way to becoming the delightfully cosy countryside venue full of interesting nooks and crannies that it is today.

With free wi-fi both inside and outside and two newly opened bedroom suites reflecting their own unique luxury and style including state of the art ipod docking, large wall mounted flat screen TV’s, the softest of linen, the comfiest of beds, the fluffiest of bathrobes, nespresso coffee machines, rainforest showers, freestanding baths and a wide range of luxury Clarins products the Black Horse has to be one of the most tantalising destinations for a few days away from it all!

The Black Horse has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere under the new management team David and Leanne, ably assisted by efficient and helpful staff.

The whole team work very hard to keep the Black Horse the kind of pub that draws locals and guests alike together as a community within the village of Fulmer and encompassing the neighbouring towns and villages. By making sure that food and drink is of excellent quality yet sensibly priced, and by regularly getting involved in community affairs and running events in support of the community, the Black Horse Fulmer management and staff team consistently bring cheer, warmth and joy into the lives of the many locals and guests frequenting this marvellous venue on a regular basis.

The Black Horse Fulmer has a caring attitude towards all of their clientele and man’s best friend is not overlooked either. As such well behaved dogs are most welcome both inside and outside this lovely public house which makes this a natural stopping off place for local dog walkers and dog owners.

As part of the extensive refurbishment programme undertaken by the new managers David and Leanne, the Black Horse Fulmer now boasts a newly installed Rainbow Play Area where children are welcomed and encouraged to play, with the tree house and slide offering hours of fun whilst adults relax and enjoy the friendly family atmosphere of this delightfully quintessential English traditional public house.
