The Spring has sprung

Despite the weather forecast and the fact that we are still being hit by sub-zero temperatures at night, and the occasional snow flurry, there is definitely a delightful sense of Spring in the air. The days are getting longer, the sun has warmth in it and everywhere you look bulbs are bursting through. It is the time of year when you feel the need to celebrate the wonder of nature and the joy of life and what better way to do that than to get outside and be a part of it? Why not potter up to Cambo Estate at Kingsbarns and enjoy a woodland walk taking in the last few days of their 'Snowdrop Spectacular', which ends on Sunday. If you prefer to celebrate Spring by nurturing and creating your own little haven, then St Andrews Botanic Gardens are holding a Spring plant sale on Saturday 16th March from 10am- 12 noon. Perhaps creative expression and the arts are more your style. Then why not head to Cupar and join in with the Serenade to Spring Circle Day of Dance on Saturday from 10:30am. Alternatively you could attend the performance of 'Spring Awakening' by the Icarus Theatre Collective from 7:30pm, also on Saturday 16th, at Adam Smith Theatre. Fife has sprung into Spring with a bounce....... Enjoy the rest of your week.
