Glenrothes Art Club’s 2013 season continues on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th April with a sale of unframed paintings. The popular show always attracts great interest. The venue for this important event is Unicorn Square in the Kingdom Centre, Glenrothes. The stalls are staffed by members of the Art Club from 10:00am to 4:00pm each day. A large selection of original paintings and drawings by local artists will be on view and for sale. Lilian Sloan, President of Glenrothes Art Club said “This is an excellent opportunity for local people to view a wide selection of original art work and, as the paintings and drawings are unframed, they are on sale at a very reasonable cost. A portion of the sales goes to Art Club funds and this will be used to making sure that this valuable community group continues to flourish.”

The Glenrothes Art Club has a series of high profile events throughout the year and the April “Unframed Sale” in the Kingdom Centre will be followed later in the year with a major Annual Exhibition. The charity’s base is in the Cottar House, Alburne Park and the Club is now in its 58thyear of activity.

Lilian added “We are always interested in recruiting new members and everyone is made welcome. We accept people from 16 years upwards and more information is available from volunteers at the Unframed Sale or by contacting myself on Glenrothes (01592) 771925 ; email: glenrothesartclub@gmail.com .”
