Love em or hate em, it seems us Evesham town folk are stuck with em !
Whilst there are sound reasons for the change over- there are also vaild reasons for rejection.
My dear old mum at 85 has acquired her new bins, and she is lucky having front and rear gated access. She has been told to leave them at the front of her house, not a problem except that the roadway ( and bin lorry) is aboit 10 foot higher than the pavement and a 25% slope to access it !
For as long as I can remember the bin bags have been left at the back gate area ( not front !)as the lorry access here is so much easier. It will be intersting to see how long the front approcah works, especially as others in her terrace ONLY have rear access.
