SUPERSPROUT MAKES PUBLIC DEBUT
AT UK SPROUT FESTIVAL
The UK’s only Sprout Festival will welcome a new star into the vegetable world this year. Taking place in the Vale of Evesham on 4th December, the Supersprout will be introduced to its public for the first time.
Enriched with Selenium – a vitamin lacking in today’s diet – the Supersprout helps boost the immune system and has also been proven to help with fertility. Several studies have suggested a possible link between cancer and selenium deficiency. What’s more, the Supersprout is also sweeter to the palate.
Chef Felice Tocchini and William Haines, grower of the unique Supersprout, will demonstrate ways of cooking sprouts to make them appeal to a wider audience. This includes Felice’s world-famous Sprout Cake as well as Sprout Cocktails.
As well as being able to sample a host of sprout creations, there will be all sorts of sprout goodies for visitors to buy plus musical tributes to this humble ‘veg’. There will also be a single performance of the famous Sprout Dance featuring stalks of sprouts.
