Win Huxley of Yates Court, Evesham, was born in Lydbrook, Forest of Dean, on December 14, 1909 and trained as a teacher in 1931, before marrying in 1939 and moving to Evesham. Mrs Huxley celebrated her 100th birthday with a family meal at the Dormy House Hotel , Broadway and a tea party the next day with friends and residents at Yates Court on Evesham High Street.
