Engineers will construct and erect a 36m pedestrian bridge across the River Avon at Evesham on Sunday.
The 30-tonne temprary bridge in Evesham will enable pedestrians and cyclists to cross the Avon while work to build a replacement continues on Abbey Bridge. The footbridge will be delivered in kit form format to be built by engineers on-site during the day on Sunday 28th April, being lifted into position by a huge crane in the early evening between 7 and 8pm
