This national organisation provides confidential non-judgemental emotional support 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feeling of distress or despair, sometimes with suicidal tendencies.
Their local branch is looking for non judgemental, patient people to train as ’Listeners’ for people making contact either by phone, email or text. A commitment of 1 duty of 3-4 hours per week plus one overnight per month is required. Full training provided.
Access to a car is essential as the centre is not accessible by public transport.

We carry out confidential interviews Mon to Fri 10.00 am - 12.30 pm, (afternoons by arrangement). Call us to book an appointment. We are also at Walton Library on Wednesdays from 10am to 1pm.
